We are at Joe Wheeler State Park Marina in Rogersville, AL.

It rained pretty much all day today. Yuck! I really wanted to stay on the boat and skip the events rather than walk up to the lodge in the rain, but we gathered up our will power and attended seminars on Tarpon Springs to Key West, the Okeechobee Waterway, and Marine Electronics (for me). Susan attended a seminar on cruising from Key West to Jacksonville.

The electronics talk was done by Roger Turner of Turner Marine in Mobile. It was interesting. I will probably get him to work on my autopilot while we are in Mobile.

Tonight there was an event in Rogersville, the town here where the State Park is located. The town bussed Loopers from the Lodge to "downtown" for shopping and a big country music concert held at a B&B in town.

We chose to chill out rather than do this Rogersville gig. Having lived up here in nearby Decatur for 18 years, we are very familiar with Rogersville, and unfortunately, it doesn't do much for us. Six other friends felt the same way, so we joined together and rode in two cars to a Mexican Restaurant in town that was fairly good. We had Marguerites on board Sun Gypsy before we left that were out of this world. Still more Marguerites at the restaurant! We had a great time! Thanks Leila and Rick; Jan and Ron; and Anne and Ken!

Tomorrow is the last day of the Rendezvous. It is time!

Thanks for Reading!
