We are at Joe Wheeler State Park Marina in Rogersville, AL.

It was cold and windy today. Brrrr! The boat rocked at our slip at the end of the dock. The incessant passing of bass boats on the creek added wakes with which to contend and it was rough! To heck with the "no wake" buoys, these good ole boys in their expensive toys zipped back and forth by the docks all day.

We managed to pick up the Auburn -Texas A&M game on CBS at 2:30, but the TV reception was very spotty. We would see a play then the screen would go blank, etc. we finally found a radio station in North Alabama that carried the game and listened to the last quarter on the radio. It was a very exciting game as AU upset Johnny Football and TAMU!

We went up to the Lodge for the seafood buffet tonight and enjoyed the crab legs. Very good. This Saturday night buffet is a popular affair and it seems to draw a good many locals to the Lodge. It was cold going back to the boat, and we ran the heat all night. The outside lights on the rear deck of the boat had attracted numerous bugs. Probably looking for a way to get warm!

Tomorrow we head out start the trip to Chattanooga. First stop will be a marina on the River South of Huntsville.

Thanks for Reading!
