We are at Joe Wheeler State Park Marina in Rogersville, AL.

The Looper Rendezvous started today. Registration was held starting mid afternoon and everyone gathered for docktails, dinner, and introductions of those of us that are currently doing the loop.

Turner Marine from Mobile hosted Docktails with a wine bar and snacks. This was held outside on the veranda near the pool and overlooking the harbor here at Joe Wheeler State Park. Everyone seems to be here now. A few boats drifted in today including our friends Brent and Susan on "Once Upon a Time", who we last saw at GTB.

There are a ton of Loopers here who are currently on the Loop. It took about an hour and a half to introduce everyone. At registration, we got gift bags full of information and "trinkets". There is a ship's store open here and we got a new Looper flag to replace our current tattered and torn flag that is flying on the bow pulpit of the boat. We also bought our Gold Looper Flag to immediately attach to the bow when we cross our wake at Captiva Island Florida in a couple of months. There is also a chart store here and we picked up charts for Mobile and the Florida Gulf Coast.

Tomorrow the seminars start in earnest.
