Tonight we are at home in Alabama.

The shuttle from Enterprise Car Rental got to the marina about 9:40 this morning, and we were back with the car shortly before 11. After loading up, we took off and were on our way to Alabama by 12:30. This included stopping to get a burger for lunch on our way out of town. I was disappointed that our GPS took us on a long route North to get to  I-75 then back through Chattanooga. I will try to correct this on the trip back.

We got to the house about 3:30 Central, making the trip in about 4 hours. Susan unloaded the car and I headed to town to get a much needed hair cut and to pick up some prescriptions at the drug store.

Back home, it was good to have some room to relax and to sleep in a good bed. It has only been about three weeks since we were home, but it seems like a lot longer. It was also good to have decent TV and internet reception, as I watched a good Carolina Panthers Thursday Night Football game on the NFL Network. Good game by Cam!

Tomorrow we head to Valdosta, GA for the nephew's wedding.
