Tonight we are back on the boat North of Chattanooga.

I had a dermatologist appointment in Auburn early this morning. It took an hour. Two moles taken off and a few warts on my knee frozen off. Then good to go.

We left heading back to the boat about 11, after cramming all our stuff in the rental car. I bought a second helm seat for the fly bridge and had it sent to son Ben's house in Daphne. He and Amanda brought it to the wedding, and we transferred it to our car and brought it home. It just did fit in the trunk of the rental car and we jammed our suitcases and other stuff in around it to get it back to the boat.

The trip to Chattanooga took about 4 hours. It was generally overcast on the way up. The past several days have been very cool in North Alabama with frost, so the leaf colors were a little more defined this week.

When we got to the marina where we kept the boat, it was raining. We unloaded the car and made three or four trips with our collapsable cart from the car, down a steep concrete ramp, and about 300 feet to our boat. Ugh! I carried the new helm seat up to the fly bridge and laid it out for installation tomorrow.

At 6:15 we went to a Bi-Lo grocery store and bought provisions for the next leg of the trip. Three or four more trips with the cart from the car to the boat and we were good. By this time it was 8:45, so we went to the marina restaurant and got a quick bite to eat.

Tomorrow we will take "Blue Moon" back down to the dock in downtown Chattanooga to spend two nights.

Thanks for Reading!
