What a beautiful day today! The storms from yesterday passed through and today was cool, much less humid, and very clear. Susan did laundry in the morning. My cousin John came down at Lunch and brought Subs - my favorite! When we were kids, we would get subs in his hometown of Beverly, NJ at a local place called Franks. I remember them to this day. John remembered also and brought a sack full with him for lunch! John keeps his boat at Skipjack where we are staying.

John, Susan, and I had a great time catching up on 50 years of history. We had seen John once or twice in that time frame! He was kind enough to take us to several markets to get some needed provisions. For dinner, we went to a wonderful waterfront seafood place in Rock Hall, MD. I tried the steamed crabs. Been there done that. Too much work for too little reward!

We saw more beautiful scenery on the Sassafras River. With the great weather, the scenery seemed to explode in greenery. This area is a huge agricultural area. We couldn't believe the fields of corn and grain. Farming is everywhere around here! We are very impressed with this part of the Eastern Shore.

Tomorrow we head about 40 miles to Delaware City, DE.

Thanks for Reading!
