After a 12 hour, 715 mile drive from Alabama, we are back in Portsmouth and back in the saddle on "Blue Moon". We left at 6:30 AM Central and arrived at the boat at 6:30 PM Central. A long day!

Everything looks good on the boat. The guy who changed the oil left the engine room lights on. Hopefully the bulbs are not burned out. Will check tomorrow.

There is a big band party at the Marina Pavilion tonight.  People are spread out on the docks in folding chairs with plenty of adult beverages. After making umpteen trips from the car to the boat unloading a ton of stuff that we hauled back up here, we are too tired to party! The parking lot is full to overflowing. We got the last spot. Susan saw a man fall overboard from his boat into the water here at the marina. Probably a victim of too much jungle juice. A bunch of people came running down our dock to help. Looks like it turned out OK. They party hardy up here!

Tomorrow we head out to get provisions for the next week or two. Monday, we turn in the car. Tuesday it's on to Deltaville, VA.
