Another hot and humid day. This morning we said goodbye to Eddie and Linda (our Auburn buddies) on "Spiritus" as they sailed North to Troy, NY to get into position for the Canal, even though we heard the rumor tonight that Lock 12 would not open until July 18. All the Loopers gathered at the Maritime Museum to see them off. They have been stuck here for like a month, and it was time for a change of scenery. It was sad to see them leave, but I am sure we will see them again, probably in Michigan.

Goodbye Friends!

Hope to see you again around the bend!

We started to go to the grocery store with one of the other Looper couples Jeanne and Kenny, but found that the battery in our rental car was dead. I got AAA to come jump us off and  by that time only Susan and I went.

Tonight the rest of the Loopers headed back to Armadillo's for dinner again. We got to sit together this time - all 12 of the Loopers. The lady who owns the place is 70 and she has had the restaurant in this place for 26 years. She was very nice to us, as it was packed again tonight. I would eat here every night if I could, but there are several other places that we want to try.
Yep, it is just plain GOOD!

Tomorrow six more Loopers leave. We will say goodbye to Jeanne and Kenny from Delaware, Ron and Jan from Dunedin, FL, and Cindy and Mike from Minnesota in a 22' sailboat!

Thanks for Reading!
