Tonight we are still at the Pirate's Marina Cove near Pickensville and Aliceville, AL.

Today is 11/12/13! When was the last time we had consecutive numbers like this on the calendar? When will be the next time we will see this phenom?

We are staying with "Sun Gypsy" here at Pirate's. Sun Gypsy had a leaking transmission seal, and we want to travel together down the waterway. We feel like with the very remote and rural nature of this part of the Loop, that it makes sense to maintain the "buddy boat" concept.

The repairs to Sun Gypsy were actually completed today about noon! Excellent! And Leila feels a lot better today! Wonderful news!

The wind and some light precip came as forecasted and the temps dropped drastically through the day. We are in a protected cove here at Pirate's, so the winds were not as bad as we feared. But, by this evening, with temps in the 30's it was really cold. We have been running the reverse cycle A/C and heat all day and are staying warm. I ran the generator for about 15 minutes today to exercise it. We will need it tomorrow as we travel and tomorrow night at anchor.

Tomorrow we will see lows in the 20's. After discussing our travel options, Rick and I decided to leave around 9:00 and go about 40 miles and anchor at Sumpter Recreation Area instead of leaving in the dark and trying to make Demopolis. So, that is the plan!

Thanks for Reading!
